ASSET

Hi,

one asset was entered in 2005 in MXN pesos while the USD amount was wrong due to wrong currency exchange rate.

Now when the asset should be sold in USD, it is coming with this wrong acquisition amount. How could I correct the aquisition value and accumulated depreciation in only one area (33) in asset?

it is very urgent.

Thanks,

Miroslav

You can use ABZU - Write-Up to correct the Accumulated depreciation and Asset Value.

You need to maintian Revenue from write-up on ord.deprec. in AO90.

Hi

Is USD the group currency and you need to change the USD value?

What is the percentage value change of the exchange rate? If not much you should be able to enter the currency rate in F-90 or F-91 and change the value of USD/group currency in "More data tab".

The other alternative that I can think of is to reverse or dispose the incorrect asset and record the correct values via AB01 which would allow to enter the accumulated depreciation.

HI,

This wrong movement cannot be reversed as it is from 2005.

USD ist the hard currency only, but now when we are trying to post a sale of this asset in USD is it coming this wrong value due to exchange rate at the time of aquisition. The difference is huge.
