How to ignore message using sender adapter module

Hi, As per my requirement once I read data using sender file adapter then a validation needed. I am planning to do validation in adapter module. If data is not valid/fail then I need to ignore message not to forward to message system in SAP PI/PO. I hope if message reaches messaging system then it will get persisted in java DB. This can be achieved in enhanced receiver determination but at this level message will be persists and it creates huge number of message in SAP PI for smaller poll intervals. Is there any way I can achieve this. Appreciate for your response.

How about using those two "features" of an iFlow

• Routing Behaviour --> Receiver Not Found --> Ignore this Error
• Runtime Configuration --> Staging --> Set all to none
