only items to be appear of which row status is Open

Hi experts

i am using PLD for AR invoice, what i need is if any row status is closed in the Document those items in the closed items should not appear in the Print out

as of now its comming

how can i solve this issue, pls help me by guiding me step by step process

i know it was easy if we use CR , but our management need in pld

You already have the answer

Create 3 new fields in the repetitive area, say F_101,F_102 and F_103

For field F_101, configure the field as database type and map the sales order->Rowstatus, uncheck the visible option (Assumption that Get Description checkbox is enabled)

For field F_102, configure the field as formula type and use the formula as F_101=="Closed" , uncheck the visible option

For field F_103, configure the field as formula type and use the formula as F_101=="Open", uncheck the visible option

Choose all the row fields like Item,description,qty etc..use the Link to option and map them to F_103.

This will help you to achieve your requirement.

I had done in the same way pls see my Attachment

do u need more screen shot. Now when i attache the 3 rd Field to all row fields

the data is not showing in the Print out

only the Document Total and sequence no.untitled-2.png

You have to try a little harder

Change your formula F_128 and type F_126=="Open"

Pls see the screen shot

Still all the fields are appearing, if i attach F_128 to row fields, the non of the row will appear even if its Open or Closed

But....I don´t understand what are you doing....

Please... why you put the same formula in the F_127 and F_128

Change your formula F_128 and type F_126=="Open"

Change your formula F_127 and type F_126=="Closed"

Try with another document....you are trying wth an invoice....this requirement is good for order or delivery .... this invoice is closed in status

Hi Sir

I created a new test template and done as per you guide, not some changes is happened

but still an issue is pending , when i link the F_129 with all the row level only the Item code field is not disappearing its still appearing

all other like , dscrp, qty,unit price, row total,is not appearing if the row level is marked as Closed

Pls see the Screen Shot

But sir, my requirement is on Invoice,

when the cr note is created based on Invoice and if the Customer ask the Invoice which show the Lesser amount and also the customer does not what to show the Cr note Items in the Invoice,,

Did you get it or still having issue.

Please Upload all the fields with their formulae and the output of the PLD that you have made, to have better understanding and identify where you went wrong.

By the way you can also use the crystal report for preprinted, most likely the preprint sheet will follow letter format, by measuring the dimensions of all the boxes on the preprinted sheet, you can design them accordingly.

This will also help you to amend if required in future. Since it looks like you are having difficult time with PLD.

Not yet Resolved, i had selected all the the feilds with F-103,but when i do like that, am getting the print lay out as Blank

when i design the pld as per the 2nd step (For field F_102, configure the field as formula type and use the formula as F_101='Closed' , un check the visible option) am getting an error

but when i use F_101==='Closed', then its saving with out errors

after that i if link F_103 to , items, dscription, qty, row price, row total, and when i goes for the print out the details is not showing ,

Hi,

Third field controls printing rest of the fields because they are linked to third field. Printing depends on the condition mentioned therein.

Also you can go for crystal report where you can filter the rows on DOCSTATUS very easily.
