Hello All,

I've created one application with popups.

When I press the button for popup the popup is being opened but the popup window when moved by the User is not moving beyond a limit.

How shud I increase that limit ?

Hi,

If you made the parent iview size bigger in the layout i.e enlarge it as much as possible in the layout section .

then you can move your popup in that parent window to any where.

Hello Marcel and Govindu,

Thanks for ur replies !

But in SDN I read one thread which says if we incorporate our iview in a nested iview and if we increase the size of the nested iview in the layout then the popup can be extendable.

I tried it once . It was working . But now I'm getting a Portal exception.I don't know why !

I can do what u guys said but the problem is :

The layout screen has blue BGD and in this layout the input fields will not be using the entire layout.

SO if I increase the layout then the appearance will not be looking gud as there will be a lot of empty space . That's the reason I tried incluging my iView in a nested iView.

Any clues ?

Hi,

if I understand your issue you move a popup and you can't move it out of the "border of the iView". You have to resize the parent iView of the window so that the parent iViews use 100% of the screen and you can move the popup over the complete screen (in the iView resp. the content area in the portal). But you cannot move the popup e.g. over the navigation bar, becaue a popup isn't a new browser window. It is only a window of the parent iView.

Hope this helps.

Best Regards,

Marcel
