Cannot debug xsjs file in hana studio

Hello,

I am not able to debug the xsjs file in hana studio as on the click of browse, the File selection window opens but the "Ok" button is disabled and gives message as" Connection to the system failed. contact system adminstrator".

Have checked all the configuration settings and also debug role is assinged to user.

Is debugging enabled for your xsengine in the system configuration?

I have the same issue as well and I couldn`t debug in web dev as well. I couldn`t solve yet and I didn`t find any information so far

Same problem here for HANA Express 2.0 tenant DB debug. Anyone found the solution?

I've direct the XS classic to the Tenant DB instead of the System DB.

try the web work bench if you have xs classic - -... host:port/sap/hana/xs/ide/editor

make sure you have the appropiate xs debugging role assigned to your user id
