What HR datasets can be read by SAP Lumira? I know that it cannot read the Payroll clusters

Can SAP Lumira access any table in SAP HCM?

I am aware that it cannot access clusters directly.

Hi Marie - I recommend using SAP BW with HCM and then Lumira can use the BEx queries as a data source. I've used BW with SAP HCM in the past and it works great.

Thanks for responding. The company has predominantly bought Lumira for FI.

I don't think they will also invest in BW, or is BW a prerequisite for Lumira?

Hi Marie - BW is not a prerequisite but it does help.

Do you have the BI platform? Another option if you have that is to create universes against SAP HCM ERP tables or ABAP functions

Also, as most of the Payroll data results in clusters, can BW extract cluster data?

I haven't used BW with payroll data. That is so sensitive, I've never had access to (which I understand).
