Hello all,
maybe it is a simple question, but I don't find an answer yet.
How can I acctivate the account life cycle?? I found something about a config-tool, but I don't know what it is.
Thanks a lot.
M.Buchheim
Hi.
We thought about implementing this with SAP CRM 2007, but did not do it after all.
Account lifecycle steps are partner roles exclusions, so through these, you create the actual lifecycle steps or drop downs. Be carefull, since the roles you use here cannot be used as normal partner roles, so SAP recommends to use "dummy" roles and not the ones normally used.
After this, the different screens needs to be configured through a badi, there are several notes describing this. In the end a lot of work and need maintanance of several applets, one for each lifecycle stage.
Good luck:-)

Hi Shengyun,
For accessing SAP notes, you need a SAP Service Marketplace login. Every SAP Customer is given a login id and pwd to access SAP Service Marketplace. Then you go to the below link:-
https://websmp210.sap-ag.de/notes
It will ask for that UID and PWD and then you can search for SAP notes.
Hope this helps!
Thanks and Regards,
Rohit
Hi M.Buchheim,
Go to the transaction SPRO and follow the path
CRM-> Master Data -> Business Partner -> Define Basic Settings for Account Life Cycle and there you will find the detailed documentation of the Account Life Cycle .
Reward points if it helps!!
Thanks,
Vikash.
