Importing of taxonomy data

Hi All,

I have a scenario where all the taxonomy data are coming from a Legacy system in the form of XML from XI.

Is it possible to import the same ?

Is there any standard procedure to do that?

Should we follow the procedure what we follow for importing data from Excel sheet.
