We are using configurable material and material variant, and both are working fine.
Our scenario is like this-
If we create sales order for KMAT material for 100 qty. But the Production guy has manufactured 110 qty. and Dispatch guy has dispatched 100 qty. Now the remaining stock of 10 qty will be there against the sales order.
Now this 10 qty we have to manually check if any similar order comes for configurable material. We can not create as a material variant.
Is there any other way where we can move this stock so that it will consider these sales order stock against another sales order.
