how to upgrade from 16.1 to 16.5

Hello,

We are using Power Designer version 16.1, but we need to add new features about Business Process Model which are offered on version 16.5. So could us upgrade our version by adding only this module (about BPMN models) or should us uninstall the current version and install the new one? And please I need an idea approximately of how much does this cost (to have new license of Powerdesigner 16.5 or to upgrade the actually one (16.1)).

Hello,

BPM is available with the Information Architect (IAR) and Enterprise Architect (EAR) licenses.
If your existing installation is not provided with the PD_BPM feature, then you may have to extend your license rights and generate a new license file.
Note that SAP PD 16.5 will be end of life'd starting from February 2018 so I highly recommend you move to PD 16.6 SP05.
Regarding the license costs, contact your account manager at SAP.
