Cost details not displayed

Hi

I have defined three Value Categories (Spares, Internal Labour and External Services) and assigned respective Cost elements to them. All the above Value Categories are assigned with respective Maintenance Cost Key Figures.

When I do process using IW31, Planned Cost is not coming for all the three categories. After consuming the Material (against PO / Reservation), actual cost is appearing against Spares.

Even after running IW41, cost is not appearing for Internal labour (Actual and Planned).

Is any other Config setting to be done from PM side.

Thnx in advance and Plz guide.

Sam,

Two things to check:

1. Are the planned costs appearing in the CO report (planned/actual button on the Cost tab)

2. On the order Control tab, are there entries for the planned costing variant (this is an IMG setting)

hi

check whether you have defined the Define Default Values for Value Categories in the IMG settings

also check whether you have assigned the costing variant to the plant and order type in T code OIOF

Thnx a lot Mr.Thiyagarajan. Now I am getting the Actual Costs for all the Key Figures and Planned cost for all the Key figures except Internal Labours. (I assigned Costing Variant using OIOF).

Please guide me to get the Planned cost of Internal Labour.

hi

check whether the cost elements which you have assinged for the activity belongs to the value categories and also in valuation variant whether you have specified the priority for activty prices.like plan price for period,plan price average of all period etc

Thnx Mr.Thiyagarajan. I have checked all the parameters that you have mentioned. Still Planned cost is not appearing. Actual cost is coming after IW41.

hi,

Thnx all for the valuable inputs and guidance. My issue has got solved with the help of CO team. We have not use correct formula (Costing Tab) in Work center in addition to the settings that you have mentioned in previous reply.
