COGI - Error text.

Hi,

In the COGI report's output I am getting the error text given as below.( For same material)

1. Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use 2.536 PCE : 100600

2. Deficit of LO utilis. libre 24.344 PCE : 100600

The issue is "Deficit of" is commomn error text for all the orders but "BA Unrestricted-use" display for some orders and "LO utilis. libre " display for some orders.(LO utilis. libre it is a french word).

I want to know for same material and same plant, why system display the error text in different language for different order in the same report?

Thnaks in advance.

Hi, many messages have one or more variables (&). These variables are filled with terms in sy-langu at the time of error creation . If you logon in a different language later, the message text itself, e.g. M7 021 is issued in the current sy-langu whereas the variables are taken from the database, means language at the time of creation. That's why you somtimes find "Please enter Lagerort" or "Bitte Storage location eingeben"....

    Regards, Andreas

    Hi Murugesan,

    Thanks for the reply.

It is already checked, it was updated in the mat. master. If it is not maintained then every time system will give message in french, but here some time it gives in french and some time in English.
