Seeing this blog post I would assume it's possible to send an Exception/Custom error to the front-end from the Integration Gateway using Custom Script DataSource(DS).
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be possible at all.
Does anyone know if this is possible or how to do this? - In the ABAP stack you have the BusinessExceptions that can be raised to return a custom error message. In the SMP Integration Gateway I haven't found a way to do so (at least using custom code DS)...
