Dear all,
I need to open a second Lumira Designer (2.0 SP2) application to navigate between a dashboard and detailed views.
I know I can use APPLICATION.openNewWindow() and open document links, but I don't want to open a new browser tab.
Instead I'd like open the application as a new tab inside the new fiori style BI Launchpad (BIP 4.2 SP5).
Any Idea how achieve this behavior?
Thanks
Lukas
Hello,
I realize this post is a little old, but have you found a solution?
I need to implement the same use case with Lumira Designer 2.4 and BI Platform 4.3.
Using a Link or APPLICATION.openNewWindow the target document is opened in a new browser window and not in the Unified Viewer
Thank you for your help.

Hi Lukas,
I can confirm Tammy's recommendation from my recent installation experience. You will need to upgrade your BI Platform to 4.2 SP05 if you haven't already done so and also upgrade to Lumira 2.1.

Mustafa.

Hello Lukas - I believe you will need to upgrade to Lumira 2.1 to take advantage of the Fiori-fied launchpad. See the SAP Help for 2.1: https://help.sap.com/viewer/3dbb00422a214e39970963651f8a3094/2.1.0.0/en-US/609bacdc72574f3780dbca85d...

Hi Lukas - I don't know I haven't checked all APIs - please check the SAP Help link: https://help.sap.com/viewer/product/SAP_LUMIRA/2.1.0.0/en-US
