Tax code I1 in procedure is invalid

Hi Guys,

I am getting an error Tax code I1 in procedure is invalid

while using me31k tcode - create outline agreement.

I checked tax procedure and country assignment.

Please help me guys...

Did you create it for the tax jurisdiction code you are using?

Tax jurisdiction code is automatically picked up from Plant.

Did you check if tax codes and jurisdiction codes are maintained correctly in fxtp??

Or does the tax code exist in the tax procedure (TAXUSJ etc), if its not present you have have to create it.

Tax code needs to be created for each tax jurisdiction code you are using. So, in FTXP give the tax code you are using and the tax jurisdiction code.

Thanks for all your reply folks. But I am passing Tax code I1 - which is a valid one and also checked the tax procedure -tax jurisdiction. I am using BAPI - BUS2014(lsmw) to create purchasing contracts.

When I checked the error - it say's tax code I1 in procedure is invalid. But when I created one sample record using me31k manually - no error's encountered.

So, Is there any problem with the BAPI?

Hi guys thanks for the help. I got this error while doing the load for MRO outline Agreement in Contracts using BAPI.

The reason for the error is I need to pass the Company code and Currency in the load. After passing that , I got rid of the error.
