notification in ESS

hi friends

am using workflow linked with portal. my requirment is that.when the approver rejects his/her leave a notification is send to portal . But when i use a mail step in my work flow it does not do that. if i reject the leave in portal. No notification is send to portal. How to do this. help me

Mails wont come to UML. so routed to external mail ids

Accordng to me i also have developed 2Workflows for ESS You check whether it comes to ur workplace???If it is So Tell your EP Person to map properly your workplace!!! To Your Ess!!!

Hi Vijay,

Can you please be more clear about your query.

As i understand, the "Send mail" task is used in the workflow and you are not able to see the mail in the UWL from portal.

But to mention you, mails are not sent to UWL. Only workitems are recognised by the UWL.

Is this the one you meant? or is it pointing to some thing else?
