Deliting sales order

Hi experts can any one tell .can we delete the sales orer,delivary doc and billing. If so how to do that?

hi,

1) if at all the documents have no subsequent doc attatched to it in such case its possible to delete.

2)if the docs have a subsequent doc attatched to it then we have to cancel the subsequent doc for that particular doc.

say for ex u hv created a bill doc with ref to delivery doc and delivery doc with ref to sales order.in such case u have to

1) cancel the invoice(VF11)

2) u have to reverse the goods issue(VL09)

3)delete the delivery doc(VL02N).

4)as the delivery doc is deleted u can also delete the SO in VA02 as there will be no more subsequent doc are attatched to it.

hope this will solve ur prob.

Hi micky

We can delete the sales order and delivery but we cannot delete the billing . we can cancel the billing

VF11 - cancel the billing document

VL09 -Reversal of delivery document

Go to Vl02N and then remove the picking qty and then save it

Go to VA02 and then either you can delete or put a reason for rejection .If you put a reason for rejection automatically the sales order status will be closed.

Mickey,

When you want to delete a sales order, delivery and a billing document, go in the reverse way.

1. Cancel the invoice by txn : VF11, this will reverse all the accounting entries.

2. Cancel the goods issue by txn : VL09, this will reverse the goods issue.

3. Delete the delivery by VL02N -->delete

4. Don't delete the sales order. Reject the order by giving an appropriate reason for rejection. (you can delete the sales order from VA02, but SAP recommends to reject the order).

Hope you are clear. Revert back for further clarification.

now check still any subsequent document is there or not, if yes then cancell the same

Now goto VA02 select all line items then delete then delete complete order from menu bar click on Sales Document and Delet

Hello,

Any sales document can be deleted as long as any further documents are not processed.............delivery for an order and billing for a delivery.

You can delete a sales order by giving a reason for rejection either at the header level. you can do the same for each individual item at the item level also.

Similarly, Delivery and billing documents can also be deleted as long as further documents are not processed. In any case you always have reversal mechanism to cancel the documents.

Hi you can delete orders, deliveries and cacel billing docs..

For Billing cancel..VF11 and give billing doc then save..

For deleting delivery.. if good issue alread done then go reversal of goods issue with VL09 then go vlo2n there select all line items and then delete.. then save that means delivery has been deleted..

For order first go va02 there select all line items then delete then delete enite order through menu bar ..

Before all this, first you need to check any subsequent doc exists.. if exits please delete first subseq then delelte doc,,

You can Delete Sales Order / Delivery, but you cannot delete Billing document. But you can cancel the Billing document. You can delete Sales Order / Delivery from menu path options.
