    Hi Somnathy ,

The fields for which you are getting error are Display only fields and in your BDC program you are trying to input some Value in those screen fields , as they are not Input fields and Display only the System is throwing this error.

You need to identify the display only fields and comment the BDC table filling lines for these screen fields in your program.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Ashwini

      Dear Ashwini,

I am a same problem with this error message, May you ask you one thing, I tried to post in with Capitalization date on 01.01.2009 and I got the error 'Field RALT_DYNP_STRUC-ANBTR01(1) is not an input field'

But if I change the capitalization date to 01.01.2008 the field can be entered. What is the relationship between the capitalization date with field status

May you advice on this issue

      Thanks

      Maju S

Hi Somnath, would you be able to direct me as to how you went about identifying the 'Display only fields' from the recording and how did you comment the BDC Table filling lines for these screen fields? I was trying to 'Create Price' , history using Tcode EA89 in EMIGALL (BDC recording) and I am facing a similar error which says 'Field is not an input field' for various fields which indeed came up as Display screen fields during the actual recording.

    CN.
