Saving SAP CAL backup locally

Hello, is there a possibility to store a backup from SAP CAL to your own datacenter? Or can we somehow install a plugin so that our own backup infrastructure can connect to the DB and take its own backups?

Kind regards,

Gregory

Hi Stanimir, that is SAP S/4HANA.

Hi Gregory,

The S/4HANA solutions are available under the 30-day free trial license agreement. It means that during the trial period only test and evaluation of the trial software is allowed. So you can test the back-up functionality of S/4HANA but you could not install additional components.

If you order the SAP CAL subscription and bring your own S/4HANA license, you could do whatever your license allows.

Best regards,

Stanimir

You can connect to the VM and download the backup.
