Empty columns in Dashboard

Former Member

Hi all,

Inspite of running the report DPR_EVE_BATCH_DPO with the extract layout 0_DASHBOARD, we're not able to see any data in table DPR_DASHBOARD.

The columns for Status, Person Responsible, Actual Costs, Budgets, etc are all blank.

I was getting all the above columns populated properly in the table as well as dashboard before, but now all the data seems to have disappeared.

We're on CRPXRPM 4.0 with SAPK-40011INCPR.

Any clues? Has anyone experienced a similar behaviour before?

Regards,

Vivek Pandey

This helped. Also, we observed that the extract layout 0_DASHBOARD was changed.

Hi Vivek,

Just to make sure, have you linked the project type to the extract layout in the customizing?

You can do it under evaluations-> Assign extract layouts to project types

Hi Neil,

Thanks for your response. This has already been done.

Please let me know if there are any other settings that I might be missing.

Vivek,

I am thorwing in a rough try,

The dashboard view is updated based on the evaluation setting,

set "background processing:user;save" option for this in the project type definition.

Now go to a specific project that gets displayed in the dashboard click on the save button and come back check the dashboard.

Let me know if it works.

Thanks

Hi Pugazh,

I don't think that should be it. Whenever you run the report Vivek was talking about, it will run whichever evaluation you detail on the report, no matter the configuration on the project type.

Vivek,

Did you try Zhenbo's suggestion?

Hi Neil,

Like I said, there are no values in DPR_DASHBOARD. All configuration is in place.

Probably I would raise an OSS for the same. Would post updates.

Hi Vivek,

Did you finally solve this issue? If not, please try checking the Use Customizing check. We found a problem that if that is unchecked we don't get the values either.

Hi,

Also try to uncheck the "Check last change date" in the report.

That way it will evaluate all the projects in the system.

Hi all,

The settings wrt. Project Types are in place.

Also, I had already tried running the report as suggested by Neil.

The problem still persists.

Please let me know if there is anything else that needs to be done.

Hi Vevek,

Run SE16 with DPR_DASHBOARD, to see, if the corresponding fields are filled or not.

In this way, we can find out, if it is just a display problem or the data is not filled at all.

Kind regards,

Hi Vivek,

Would you please check the customing, 'Define project types'. There is an indicator 'Use Dashboard' has to be set.

Kind regards,

Zhenbo
