A vendor creation for a specific period

Dear All,

My client wants to create a vendor for a specific period. After reach to the to period need to block that vendor automatically. For instance need to create a vendor valid form 01.01.2018 to 30.04.2018. After 30.04.2018 need to block that vendor automatically. That is my client requirement. Is it possible to do in SAP and if so Is there any method to achieve this requirement??.

Hi Lakshan,

You should go with source list maintenance, in ECC system. through this you can maintain a validity with vendor and specific goods for a particular period.

Validity dates for vendor master are only possible in Hana but not in ECC

Hi,

Either you can block the vendor or maintain Validity in the source list

The other way which you can give a try is maintain the vendor codes in Ztable with validity periods and check box to block the vendor based on the logic of the system date and validity period which calls xk05 for blocking the vendor
