Hello Experts,

Please let me know if it is possible to copy documents which are uploaded in one solution to another solution in soldoc in the same system.

I know that it is possible to use document as a references. But i am not sure if i can use references between different solutions.

Please let me know if it is possible to user documents as references between different solutions. Let me know if there is any documentation for this.

Also let me know if there is any alternatives for this requirement.

Regards,

Vijay

HI Vijay,

you can export documents from one solution and import them into another solution with SOLADM tranasaction. It is not possible to reference the a document from a foreign solution.

Kind Regards
Andreas

Hello Andreas,

Thanks for the answer, But if we do export it will export entire structure. I just want to use documents which are already uploaded in one solution in another solution... It it possible to export only documents from one solution and import the same in another solution in a specified node in solution documentation.

Regards,

Vijay

Hi Vijay,
we do not support this by design. You should only work in one solution in 7.2 not in several as in 7.1.

Andreas
