Hi,
I am trying to build an application using BAPI's. I am currently using BAPI called 'BAPI_BANK_GETLIST'.
The problem i am facing is that, when I try drag and drop the mentioned BAPI into the storyboard, system displays message 'Fetching metadata', but after some time there is nothing in the storyboard.
I tried other BAPI's also and found the same behaviour.
Hope I have made my problem clear. Please help on path forward.
Hi,
Just try log-off and then log-on to the VC .
Have a look at the authorization for the Accessing the BAPI.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi,
I have created a model named 'XYZ' in which i have created a package named 'bank_pack', under which i have created an iview called 'bank_view'. Now I am in the iview and tried dragging BAPI onto the storyboard. But the system displays a message 'Fetching service metadata' which disappears after some time and nothing is added to the iview.
I have already tried logging off and again, but it does not help.
Request you to please let me know how can I look at the authorization for the Accessing the BAPI.
Hope it clears the confusion.
Hi Amit,
Hope you have done all the prerequisites for VC and other applications with VC are working fine.
Just do a try with this, double click on the BAPI and see whether it is able to get into the VC story board.
Regards,
Shemim

I have tried double clicking on the BAPI also, but it does not help.
Just to make my problem clear, I can see the BAPI's as Data service when I select my system( EEc 6.0), but when I try dragging or double clicking on any of the BAPI, system displays a message - 'Fetching Metadata..' and after some time that message disappears and there is nothing in the storyboard.
Also I can Drag & Drop the queries visible in Data Service (when I select the BI system) onto the storyboard successfully.
