Current order status xxxx does not allow goods withdrawals

Gents

I have a service order with components & operations. So far so good.

however if i try to Post the goods issue for the planned components used in the service order & Choose 'migo' >goods issue> reference order #-->enter. i recieve the following :-

Current order status 501289 does not allow goods withdrawals

Diagnosis

The system status of the order does not permit goods withdrawal.

Procedure

Check the order status.

Got it, I had to 'release' the service order.
