During Goods Receipt, some batches of same material are being receipted to Restricted Stock

Hi Gurus,

I am performing goods receipt in MIGO but oddly, some batches are being receipted to Restricted-use Stock. These were receipted in using the same process as for all other batches on that specific material. We need to receipt these batches in Unrestricted use.

We do not have visibility of the restricted tick when we receipt in, unlike when we check it back, there is a restricted button beside Batch.

Please help. Will reward helpful answers!

Did this just start happening? Why now?

Verify that your system doesn't have SAPLV01D user exit implemented. This is an SAP provided user exit that can be used to determine the initial status of a batch. In a worse case scenario, you can implement it to set all new batches to unrestricited.
