Hi Guys

We completed Unicode conversion activity for an ECC6 EHP0 Linux Oracle box and systems still comes up as Non-Unicode

Below are the steps we did for the activity

1) Pre-steps

2)Export generated with Unicode checked

3)Import performed on target box with a unicode kernel

Is there something else that we need to do to make the Unicode conversion show up in system

Thanks!

Hello,

The best approach to perform a Unicode Conversion, is to follow a Unicode Conversion Guide.

I would recommend you to take a look at the KBA 2487397, it contains the link to a Guided Answer that will assist you identifying the guide that best suits your scenario. After that, you will have all the required information to proceed with the Unicode Conversion.

Regards,

Maurício

Hi,

did you mark the Unicode Conversion flag during SWPM procedure!? Otherwise you did a simple system copy.

Please check the R3load logs. Is a codepage with 4102 or 4103 mentioned, or e.g. 1100?

Best regards,
Andreas
