Is there any substitute to KM APIs as performace of those APIS is not good

Hi Experts,

I am using Knowledge Management APIs, documentation can be found on the link below

I am using these APIs to fetch the content from the KM Repository.

I am able to fetch the content successfully, and written the code to fetch in Portal Service and exposed this portal service as Web Service.

When the SAP server is installed on to the Windows platform and on this server when my web service is deployed and i start fecthing a large amount of data say in GBs then i am able to fetch it successfully, but problem occurs when SAP Server is installed on to the LINUX platform.

If SAP Server is installed on LINUX platform and Web Service is deployed there and when i try to fetch content then with in 2-3 secs CPU utilization of LINUX SAP Server machine goes shoots up to 99.99% which slows down the server and hangs it, which is not acceptable.

My question to all experts is that are these KM APIs reliable to use??

Is there any substitute to these KM APIs for Linux platform so that jlaunch.exe which is the service of SAP doesn't eat the 99.99% of CPU??

Please help me out.

Helpful answer will be rewarde and appreciated.
