Where can i find Java Component SOLMAN40SR3

Hello there,

during the Installation Process of Solution Manager 4.0 SR3 i have to give the installer the location for:

Java Component SOLMAN40SR3

i thougt i downloaded all i need for the installation but i cannot find any Java Component SOLMAN40SR3 Media.

Please can you assist and tell me where in the marketplace i can find the media i need here?

Hello,

i have tried this media 5 hours ago. But it did not work.

The errormessage is:

You entered: C:\SAPINSTALL\51033521 Found the label SAP:SOLMAN_JAVA-DVD:40SR3:content::D51033521 but need the label SAP:J2EE-CD_SOLMAN40SR3:700:J2EE-CD:j2ee-cd:

So it seems that this is not the media i need.

Can you assist please again?

Do you have the newest installation master CD together with the Java DVD?

Another approach:

Enter the subdirectory J2EE_OSINDEP instead of the top Java directory...

I Downloaded now the new Installationmaster

SAP_Solution_M._7.0_Inst._Master

But when i now start sapinst i cannot select a Central System Installation.

There is no point here?

I have to install the solman on a Windows 32 BIT Version.

Choose subdirectoy J2EE_OSINDEP did not help

I have to install the solman on a Windows 32 BIT Version.

Windows 32bit is deprecated as of SR3 and can´t be used any more - you need to switch to a 64bit platform.

(check http://service.sap.com/nw2004s --> Availibility --> SAP NetWeaver 7.0 PAM)

are many SR3 CD`s and DVD`s

But no more JAVA Component for SR3..

Can i find it anywhere on the marketplace?

Please read the installation guide. A SolMan installation is a combined installation and is different than the normal Netweaver installation. The installation with install ABAP + Java together, no separate AddIn installation necessary.

But you can´t install that on Windows 32bit.

My Java CDs J2EE_OSINDEP subdirectories LABEL.ASC has

SAP:J2EE-CD_SOLMAN40SR3:700:J2EE-CD:j2ee-cd:*

Getting a 32bit Unicode ABAP + Java system to work is very cumbersome (memory issues).

I try to set up SolMan on a 64 bit Windows Server 2003 R2 SP2 with IM_WINDOWS_X86_64 with this LABEL.ASC = SAP:WEBAS:7.00:SAPINST:\*:WINDOWS_X86_64:\* .

Perhaps now you only can download the JavaComp DVD via a working SolMan. But my SolMan is not yet installed because of the delivered JavaComp DVD - CDLABEL.ASC = SAP NETWEAVER 2004S SR2 Java based Software Components Number 51032257 - , which is not the right one and which should be 51033521 :
