Sales Order Stock Transfer from one plant to another plant

I want to transfer Sales order stock from Plant A to Plant B. These plants belong to different company codes so this is a cross company transfer. I require a delivery to be created for this process so cannot use MIGO and movement type 301 E

According to SAP note: 92231 this is possible but I’m running into an issue and I’m not sure if I’m following the correct process.

• Currently goods are returned to Plant A and received in with movement Type 653 E
• I’ve created PO Type NB to move goods from Plant A to Plant B
• On the PO line item and “Account Assignment Tab” I have selected Account Assignment Category “C”. I have then filled in the Sales Order/line item for the sales order stock
• When I try to create a delivery no stock is being seen as available for delivery yet I have a committed date of today on the PO.

I’ve changed the settings in OVZ9 for checking rule B(Delivery) but the stock is still not being found. Anyone have any idea what else to check?

why do you enter account assignment category C if your stock is of special stock type E?
