Appraisal Status change from In Process to complete

While configuring Appraisals in R/3 we want to change the Status of 'In Process' moves to the Target Status of Complete" using BAPI_Appraisal_status _change.

It asks for 3 things-

Plan Version - Current Plan Version

Appraisal ID - Template ID (3429102)

STATUS - In Process

But when we give these values it gives "No record found" Message.

I don't understand why we are getting the message, because when we do APPSEARCH all the documents with the Template ID - 3429102 are visible with In Process Status.

Does any one else know of a way to handle this error or other way to change status from In process to Completed

Hi Anupama,

the Appraisal_id field in the function module takes only Object Type = BA and this is not the Appraisal Template (which is VA)...

Could you reply me what status exactly you want to change, if you are looking for changing the Status of the Appraisal docuement,

FMs, "HRHAP_DOC_STATUS_RESET" and "HRHAP_DOC_ADJUST_HEADER" may help.....

Current status of Appraisal Document is "In Process" and i want to change it to "Completed".

Actually i want to upload the appraisal Rating data for 1000 people, for which i have created an Appraisal template and LSMW also...but that LSMW only changes that data to In Process status.

So now i have 1000 records in IN Process State.. i can see and change the status of these records through AAPCHANGE (selecting the Template name and In process Status), but manually doin it would not be feasible & all these 1000 records Staus have to be changed from In process to Completed.

Hello Anupama

To change the status of the 1000 appraisal documents at time,

please access the T code PHAP_ADMIN_PA --> Enter the Template --> Select All --> from the tool bar select "Appraisal Document" --> Select "Change Status" --> Select Target Status as Completed, to set the status of all the doucments to completed.

Hi ,

I hav made an Appraisal Template which has 2 Part Appraiser and 1 final Appraiser.There are 6 Parameters on which employee is rated and one Total rating field.

Now for the 1st part appraiser i have made all the 6 column entries as mandatory (Required entries) but for second Part Appraiser i want to make all the 6 columns as optinal entry or no entry, but its not happening as the conditions applied to 1st part appraiser applies to all part appraisers.

Any idea how to change the Part Appraisers column access fields????

Hello Anupama..

Total how many participants are there in your appraisal process...

If it is imperative that you use Part Appraisers, i think your requirement can be achieved through BADI HRHAP_COL_ACCESS, by setting your own filter, take an ABAPer help. Ask your ABAPer to write code in such a way that whenever the appraisal document is with 2nd PART APPRAISER the columns need to optional... i think ABAPer can find out the 2nd part appraiser with the appraisal document status (for ex: 4 1 can be 1st part appraiser status and 4 2 can be 2nd part appraiser status)

Incorporate the BADI into your template...

Hi,

In total there are 3 partcipants in my appraisal...

1. Initiating Officer - (Part Appraiser I - who has to fill in all the 6 parameters and based on the total field he has to manually fill the Final Rating field ie rating the Appraisee on 1 to 5 scale.

2. Reviewing Officer - (Part Appraiser 2 -for whom all the fields entries are not mandatory only manual entry of Final rating (between 1 to 5 ) is madatory. OR if possible all the 6 parameter rating done by Part Appraiser 1 get copied to Part Appraiser 2, and if PART Appraiser 2 wants to make sum changes in the 6 parameter ratings he will be able to do that and then manually fill in the final rating.

3. Final Appraiser- will see the first two Part Appraisers rating and will have only one field Final Rating - which he manually fills on a scale of 1 to 5.

My ABAPer tried BADI HRHAP00_COL_ACCESS, and trying break point...but its not happening...secondly Filter is non-changable-we tried to be change it but again no luck...

Is their any user exits for part appraiser..??? I think col access will not help as it will only give the column Hide /display/change access to second part appraiser....But my requirement is to change the field entries from "Required" to "Optional" or "No entry" for part apraisers...

Please help.....
