requiments need to be deleted for sa;es order

Hi guys,

I have 2 sales orders i.e. S.O. .A AND B having qtys. 100 EACH.During MRP run requirements generated for both having different delivery dates.

Now because of urgency user transfered qty. from sale order stock A to B.

But no production has been done for sale order B, Now my question is what to do with requirements generated against sale order B.

iN OTHER WAY USER WANTS HOW TO DELETE THESE REQUIREMENTS GENERATED FOR SALE ORDER B FOR WHICH REQUIREMETS HAVE ALREADY BEEN FULFILLED FROM A

Thanks in advance

    Hi,

For this situation, instead of MD50, execute MD02 for your Material.

    With The Planning Mode "3".

Probably system will adjust the planning situation.

    Revert with the result..

    • Hi,

Close the SO B. Then Try with MRP Run.

For the SO A, all the dependent requirements are with reference to the SO "A". But at the end you have deallocated the stock from A and allocated it to B.

But, as per my understanding system should have adjusted the dependent requirements..

      Siva

    Hi Lakshmikanth,

I suppose we can delete the MRP list in MD08 for the particular material Once if the elements are deleted in MRP list (Check in MD04), automatically in the next MRP run they disappear.

Just an idea.. revert with the result

    Hi,

Please check again wether your stock is really in the special stock of SO_B.

If it is so, after an MRP run (as it was suggested before) your PldOrd for SO_B should disappear and a PldOrd for SO_A should be generated.

If you have a PrdOrd for SO_B MRP run won't help...you should check the situation, and if possible you should set the state of the PrdOrd to TECO (in CO02). After that you should have proper results.

If you have firmed PlOrd in the system for SO_B it can also prevent you from getting proper stock/requirement list. Please also check the MRP settings of your material master records. Maybe planning time fence doesn't allow MRP to delete the PldOrd.

    Please give feedback.

it seems to be you are operating with made to order planned order/ production orders.

    so here is the solution:-

    1. Incase you had a planned order generated by MRP for Sale order B. Next MRP run would delete the planned order as MRP would see the stock in Sale order B.

    2. Incase you had a converted planned order to production order then that production order should be technically closed. ie TECO status.

Either of the above would stop generating any more requirements for Sale Order B.

Hope this helps. Else let us know.

    Thanks,

    Ram
