Batch Management Activation in Existing FG Material

Hi Experts,

I have a problem. I have to activate Batch Management in existing FG Material. I have removed all the stock from the plant and production order. But when ticking batch management in MM02, following error is coming.

"SD Document exist that have not been processed". Document No. xxxxxxxx.

What should we do. Is there any way to remove this error. I suppose, batch management is changebale in case we don't have stock in present periord or past period.

Please help us out.

Hi,

It seems the batches have been used in some open SD documents, most probably sales orders (even if there is no stock). You should remove the batch number from these Sales orders and then check again.

you can activate BATCH MANAGMENT for existing material only when there is no OPEN DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE

from you post it seems that you might be using reservation, first you need to cancell the open document and then try
