due date minus current date

Hi experts ,

I have requirement to calculate the difference between Due date (a date characteristic) and Current date(sy-datum) please inform me how I can achieve this.Is it possible by creating one variable with replacement path for Due date and for current date with variable exit.

Please guide me how to achieve this in bex report.

Hi Prasad,

You can achieve this with the help of a structure. You can create a new formula by right clicking on the structure. in the formula, you can select the fields and give the minus sign in between them as mentioned below.

Create a structure as mentioned below. The fields in query designer will lokk as below.

Rows

New Structure

Due date

Current date(sy-datum)

New Formula --> 'Due date' - 'Current Date'
