MappingException: Mapping failed, com.sap.guid.GUIDFormatException

Hi All,

Looking for quick help ...

Scenario: IDoc --> Proxy

PI Version: PI 7.4 Single Stack (migrating from 7.1)

IDoc is coming to PI and failing in the mapping. We have JDBC Lookup in the mapping. If we test the Operation Mapping in the test tab with the same Payload, it is working absolutely fine but in Runtime it is failing with the below error:

MappingException: Mapping failed, com.sap.guid.GUIDFormatException

I have recreated the entire scenario including the channels but no luck. If anyone has idea on this, please do let me know.

Hi Jyothi,

If the name of the parameter in the operation mapping and the receiver channel name in the ICO are same then you will get above error, check below SAP Note is applicable to your PI version.
