Hello,
There is a batch job at our end that creates PO from PR. But after observing in EKKO i got to see that most of the POs are created manually. just a couple of tehm are created by batch job.
I've checked the materials and vendors of the PO which were creaated manually both the places had 'Auto PO' box checked. Moreover all the PR's had a source of supply.
Please help me out why the batch job did not create almost all the POs?
Thanks,
Amit
Dear Amit,
You can use report RM06ME59 for release 5 or report RM06ME59_4_6 (rel 4 to 4.7)
to check this out. The report was provided in SAP Note 786303.
Hope this help,
Ian

Lakshman has explained
you need to have the source list setup (make sure info record exist) or contract is exist and it is assgned to the source list
but as per your email the source is determined in the PR that means source are setup properly
now check the variant of your back ground program of AutoPO
if the variant is not matching with your PR's than it will not creates the PO
so create few PR's and test it with ME59N with the background job variant and see how it is going
some time in the variant let say you have setup the release date but if it is not matching with PR release date than it will not create the PO
so in short you need to test same varinat online than setup for back ground.

Just the source of supply is not enough. Was there a info record or a contract maintained for the material and vendor? Also, was this info-record or contract assigned to in the PR or a source list maintained?
