Delete Personalization

Former Member

Hello,

I'm having probelms with queries on portal.

Users have saved personalizations and variables, but for some requests we have changed them in such a way (removed some objects) that now when we launch the report we have a short dump on the java side.

My guess is that perso and/or variables can't be read.

If in the WAD I deactivate user perso and user variables the query can be launched.

My question is how can delete personalizations and variables for a user (and a query)?

Thanks for your help.

Matthieu

Hi,

The Enterprise portal provides a tool called Personalization Cleanup that enables an administrator to remove a specific user’s personalization on a specific object.

Running Personalization Cleanup

To run the tool, go to System Administration --> Support --> Portal Content Directory --> Personalization Cleanup.

Hi Matthieu,

Please follow the below steps to Delete Personalization from a Query :

1. Goto Transaction code RSRT ( Query Monitor ).

2. Select your Query and click on Execute.

3. Pop up window will appear asking for variable inputs.

4. Besides each variable you can see a Face Symbol icon which reads Personalize Variable, Use that to delete the personalization.

Hope it helps.

Reward if helpful.

Thanks for the reply Hemant,

But my problem is with users that only run queries on the portal and don't have any access to BW with a SAP logon.

And what about personalization, would you have any idea how I could manage this?
