EP 7 Support pack process

Hi,

I have to apply support pack on my Enterprise portal7.Can you please let me know How to apply it on EP7.

I know we can do it through JSPM but I mean to say whether we should update J2ee engine or EP.

Please suggest some way which one should I update first.Is there any dependency on other component like KM & Trex.

Points for helpful answer.
