JCo packages deprecated in CE7.1?

Hi,

I'm using the JCo packages

import com.sap.mw.jco.IRepository;

import com.sap.mw.jco.JCO;

within NWDS of CE7.1. The Developer Studio highlights all classes of this packages as deprecated. Can somebody clarify why JCo is shown as deprecated and which classes have to be used instead.
