Batch Management in TO

We have activated batch management for Warehouse.Selection criteria is maintained in LS51

When TO is auto created for the delivery , batch corresponding to selection criteria is picked. But if we create TO manually and pick materials from foreground in TO then it shows all batches(irrespective of selection criteria).
We can pick and do PGI as well with batches in those cases(when picking is done in fore ground in TO).

In case of sales process without WM, we will get message VL215(not according to selection criteria) if we pick batches outside selection criteria but not in case of TO. Is there a way to overcome this?

You may need to use enhancement as mentioned in the OSS Note 1772493 - Batch check in WM during the transfer order confirmation

Is it better to do batch determination at TO end? or delivery end and then show those batches in TO?

In SPRO check Logistics General --> Batch Management --> Batch Determination and Batch Check.

I think you have other settings active outside of WM batch determination.

Can you please clarify what do you mean 'other settings active outside of WM batch determination'.

The spro config was checked but unlike for SD where check batch option is present which will give you a message if the selected batch is outside the criteria , no such config did I find for to

In your initial post, you indicated that you had batch determination in WM turned on. All I am suggesting that like you mentioned about SD batch determination, you might have another type of batch determination that is turned on, and active in non-WM plants.
