MRP Not Generating Planned orders

Hi,

MRP not generating planned orders

In material Master planning strategy 11, MTS, GRP are maintained. While creating PIR Req Type is maintained as Type BSF,

On the screen it prompts Warning Message:

Material Not Maintained for GRP, but Ind Req are created with BSF as MRP element Type.

When mrp is run planned orders are not generated??????

If PIR is given in the year 2009, system generates planned orders..

We do not have any stock, or any dep requirments

Can anyone guide me in this regard

The Message says " Errors occurred while reading data -> error log"

Did you get any error log? Please provide the error log..

Check the below:

1. Pl. Strategy : 11

2. Mixed MRP Indicator : 2

3. For Strategy 11, Req. type: BSF, Req. Class :102.

4. Strategy Group :11, whether the Strategy :11 is maintained in that??

After material master settings please delete all the records in MD62 and recreate them - just a suggestion.

there is problemw with variant creation for year 2008, it has been sorted by our techinical team.

HI,

While Creating PIR (MD61), You can set the parameter BSF, and select version "00' for requirement plan ans save it, then enter the PIR save it.

I met the same proplem before which was arisen by the wrong MRP type which was filled with M0. After changing to PD,It's OK. or You can MD42 to test that.so many friends've given kind reply ,pls tell us the current status,thanks!

Hi,

If you want to use the Planning Strategy 11, then you should maintain the Mixed MRP Indicator in MRP-3 View as 2 (Gross Requirements Planning).

Try with this and revrt for further discussion..
