Subtotals in Financial Reporting Structure

Dear Experts,

Is it somehow possible to define subtotals in income statement by nature of expense while creating financial reporting structure for non-localized country, which will consider only defined items?

Example:

A_Sales Revenue

Revenue 1

Revenue 2

Revenue 3

B_Operating Costs

Costs 1

Costs 2

Subtotal 1: (for example Operating Result) = A_Sales Revenue – B_Operating Costs

Subtotal 2: (for example Added Value) = (Revenue 1 + Revenue 2) - B: Operating Costs

As I know, the subtotals are defined using hierarchy – higher hierarchy levels are summarized in lower levels.

But I am wondering, if it is possible to define own formulas as you can see in example. Or can anybody explain me, how does “Subtotal Print Option” in Income Statement Structure work?
