    Hi,

    >we dont create sender agrement and sender communication channel in the scenario when we have SAP on sender side.

If IDOC & HTTP we do not create Sender Adapter, Since both are in ABAP Stack & directly talks to the Integration Engine.

    Hi Vijaya,

    you can check this link:

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/b1/f29e7a56e18a439984a3c6630951d2/frameset.htm

Sender Agrrment is used for almost all scenarios except the interfaces having IDOC, HTTP or XI sender adapters.

As these adapters are relied on ABAP stack of the Integration Engine.

Sender agrement is used for tracking data is coming from which system or which service.....In a sender agreement, you define how the message of a sender is to be transformed so that it can be processed by the Integration Engine

For IDOC, HTTP and XI adapter it comes already in the expected format as per Integration Engine.

    Reward points if this helps

    Regards

    Vani.

    Hi

why we don't create sender agreement and sender communication channel in the scenario when we have SAP on sender side

When SAP is on Sender side it will use either IDoc, XI adapter, or through plain HTTP.

Plain HTTP adapter is part of the Integration Engine so when your message reaches integration engine this adapter changes it in XML data.Refer following link for more details about HTTP adapter:

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/0d/5ab43b274a960de10000000a114084/frameset.htm

In case of Idoc XI uses tRFC to post Idoc to integration server.Refer following link for more details:

PS: Reward points if find helpful.

It is not like u dont have to create sender agrement and sender communication channel while using SAP. SAP communication can be made with XI using 1 of the three ways. Idoc, RFC, ABAP Proxy

In case of Idoc and ABAP proxy this sender channels are not required. But in case of RFCs they are surely required. The reasons are mentioned in previous posts
