Fiori Element: Checkbox in a table

Hello,

I'm working with fiori elements, and in the ObjectPage I want to display a table inside a section. For this table I have a column as a boolean type.

I'm wondering if it is possible to manage this column as a checkbox by annotation or other way?

Regards,

Joseph

    Hi Joseph,

I can't find any way to do this yet either - other than using a breakout extension.

However it's a great idea. Would you please submit an enhancement request as a SAP Incident to component CA-UI5-ST.

    Thanks

    Jocelyn

    Hi Joseph

One thought to improve the display and edit...

In Display Mode you could use the Status Icon with a Semantic Colour - e.g. Grey for "off", Green for "on"

That's easy to do - you just need a virtual element to provide the criticality value... and I have a blog on this.

In Edit Mode, you can use fixed values and drop downs - so you could use a simple fixed value field for Yes/No to set the "X" or blank. If the value is associated with a foreign key it will also show Yes (X) and No (blank)

    • Hi Jocelyn,

What you suggest is a workaround which can work for read only mode, but for the edit mode, having a dropdown list, my end user will kill me and put my head on top of a spear!!!!!!
