Hi experts,

Can SAP Web Dispatcher be used as a reversion proxy for SAP BI Platform Web Application Container Server, ie. Tomcat, Oracle WebSphere?

Why not ?
It'll be just like any other reverse proxy/loadbalancer , but why do you need to use it with WACS ?
Why would you ever want to use WACS now that the restful is part of tomcat deployment (BI4.2 SP5) ?

Thanks.

Let's say two web application server cluster, we need a loadbalancer/reverse proxy in that case.

WACS can't be clustered, but you can have a proxy/LB in front of it and those are the same as with any webapp server (tomcat/WL/WebSphere).
From BOE perspective we require session persistence, no caching or filtering and that's it.

And I'd recommend moving to 4.2 Sp5 and stop using WACS all together.
