deletion of Products in SRM 5.0

Hello All,

I have some product ID's to be deleted from SRM system,

we no longer need them.

I mean to say i want to completely remove them(Archiving)

Can any one please help me the process of Archiving in SRM,what needs to be done sep by step.

Your help will be appreciated.

Hai Arshad,

Please use the following reports to delete the products completely from the database

COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_SINGLE - Deletion of a product from the database

COM_PRODUCT_DELETE_ALL - Deletion of all product master data

Hi

I hope you have activated the Archiving infostructure PRODUCT_MD in your system. If you have already done that then I would suggest that you use SARA trasaction and execcute the steps Preprocessing, Write and Delete to archive the materials.

Did you get message while you execute the deletion report.

like " Register to execute this report " in the left bottom of the screen.
