ALV Functionality After Upgrade

Hi Frnds,

Iam working on Upgrade from 4.6C to ECC 6.0. There are 100 Z-programs which are using the Function Module "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY". Iam facing 3 main issues in this programs.

1. Date format is not coming as it is coming earlier in 4.6C.

2. Conversion Exits are not working which are working fine in 4.6C

3. Leading zero's are not coming.

I have debugged the program in both the versions, Data in the Internal Table which we are passing to the function module REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY is same in both the versions. But I dont know why it is displaying differently in the 2 versions.

Is there any oss note or some settings to be done to get the proper output. I too have a option of using the date converters and conversion exits, but as there are 100 programs it is not easy at the same time Iam not getting why it is not working only in ECC 6.0 as it is working fine in 4.6C.

If any one faced such problem please share your suggestions and solution.

Thanks in Advance.

I encountered the same problem you describe, but luckily so far only in one Z-program. The grid is based on a table structure defined in the source, not in the DDIC, which might be (part of) the problem.

What I did was after calling REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE to initialize the field catalog I manually set the REF_FIELDNAME. With this, the grid output was as before. That's probably too much work if you face 100 programs, but I did not find anything in the SAP Notes either.

If you find another solution, please let me know.
