the files will be available ,with a time gap of 12 hrs.can we use bpm there.

Rao,

Poll interval for 12 hr will help you to resolve that is every 12 hrs the File adapter will poll at that time any of the one file will be available is it , So no need to go for BPM

Hi,

but,how can we specify that at particular time the file has to posted sat.. at 10 AM in the morning...i want to the file to be picked at 10.how to configure communication channel so that the file gets picked at 10 AM?

Hi,

normally it is not allowed. What you could do is to use the vitrual receiver. In this case you could enter the receiver name in sender agreement and use different channel for the same sender service and same sender Interface. If you have two different receivers, you could have two different channel from one sender service which send out same interface message for different reciepients.

i want to send different text files with same structure with differnt names to a same receiver at differnt intervals in a same day,am using XI 3.0 SP16.like.....where should i configure

In the same file adapter go ahead for "advance selection for source file" and give poll interval as definite seconds . That has to work out.

as we hav an option called "advanced selcetion for source file".i think we can use it.we can place the files in the folder and giv time interval between them?

You can have two sender agreement with the same sender service and same sender interface either with the same comm. channel or with different comm. channel.

hi,

No..its not possible..

If u have 2 sender cc then u need to create 2 sender agreement..

If u want to run 2 sender cc then create a sender agreement with dummy interface and another one

create with original interface....
