VBA Error: Run-time error '-2147467261 (80004003)': Automation error Invalid pointer

Hi,

We are facing this error on a user's PC while trying to access a BPC template. We are using EPM that comes bundled with AFO 2.4.1 for BPC reporting.

As a solution we have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling AFO but that didn't help.

I have not found any note or clear solution in SCN. So if anyone of you have experienced the error before kindly let me know your comments.

By the way, if you are using BPC standard, why do you need AFO? Why not standalone EPM???

If you have VBA code in your template then you need to post this code to be able to discuss the issue!

Hi Vadim,

Only one particular user is facing the problem. The template works fine for other users.

This particular error "Run-time error '-2147467261 (80004003)': Automation error Invalid pointer" is absolutely generic!

Can be thousands of reasons to get this error. You need at least to press debug on the error form to understand the code statement producing this error.
