add space between fields in TOP OF PAGE in ALV GRID

I am display header using top of page in ALV grid.

in header I want display the data row wise , I want add space between the fields , but I see it displaying right after other , I read in forum it can be done through ALT+255.

but when I press ALT + 255 nothing is typed.

Pl let me know how to resove this issue.
