test the authorizations of a user with transaction SU53 or with SUIM transaction check the authorizations roles in use containing M_MATE_STA: are you sure users don't have another role with settigns for auth object M_MATE_STA?

Please ask your Security Admin to perform an STAUTHTRACE (security trace transaction) on the transaction, and you will see what objects/values/activities are being used. It should help debug the issue.

Hi,

It looks like there is another role assigned to the user which is having the authorization for other status as well. You may test the scenario by assigning only the specific role to the user in Dev / QA. Alternatively, you may check the where used list for the object M_MATE_STA in SUIM and find the other roles where its assigned.

Regards,

Prasoon
